Moving picture guide information providing system and a method thereof are provided to provide a cadastral map for guiding a specific area, path map and product advertisement about a local company by providing information about phone number and moving picture to a user using a mobile terminal for a wire/wireless image display. An application server(103) searches moving picture guiding information matched with phone number information by 1:1. Video information DB stores moving picture guiding information. A moving picture information management server(104) controls, edits and renews the moving picture information DB. An advertisement-information management server(105) controls, edits and renews the advertisement-information DB storing the advertisement of products inserted into the moving picture guiding information. The moving picture information management server and advertisement-information management server transmit the moving picture guiding information to a media server(102) based on subscriber information. And the media server provides the information to communications terminals(40,50) for wire and wireless image display requesting the moving picture guiding information.
