PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip for channel forming in which capturing means can easily be arranged, even if the channel is minute, so as to detect various capture targets. SOLUTION: This chip for channel forming includes a platy substrate, a channel configuration member made from polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) resin which is equipped with channel configuration groove composing the above channel and mounted on the above substrate so as to cover the above channel configuration groove to form the channel, a capturing means movably-arranged in the above channel to capture any capture target, and an arresting means for restraining movement of the above capturing means on the way of the above channel.
