PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile cowl structure capable of improving flexibility of layout of a vertical wall element. SOLUTION: In the automobile cowl structure wherein the vertical wall element 12 extending in a vehicular width direction is raised at a position lower than a hood 3 covering an engine room on a cowl top cover 1, a groove portion 8 upwardly opening and extending in the vehicular width direction is provided on the cowl top cover 1, and the vertical wall element 12 is fitted with the groove portion 8 to be mounted.
