PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve machining accuracy of a slot, and to improve discharging property of sludge. SOLUTION: In this machining method for opening a nozzle hole in a nozzle main body 21 by electric discharge machining, the electric discharge machining is performed, while an electrode 32 to be used in the electric discharge machining is delivered in an axial direction and the nozzle main body 21 is rotated with an axis of the electrode 32 as a center. The electrode 32 is not rotated, and thereby the electrode 32 is not deflected. By rotating a workpiece, sludge generated during the electric discharge machining is easily discharged to the outside from a hole 76 by a centrifugal force. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
