PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor device that can regulate charge trap at a site where incompatible functional materials and binder materials used as a holding media for functional materials are in contact with each other. SOLUTION: The photoreceptor device includes a substrate and at least one patterned binder layer comprising a solid binder matrix and hollow spaces filled with a functional material or a filler.
