PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure an on-board unit to connect and use a plurality of kinds of portable devices and to speedily play back music files through playback control steps according to a portable device of high priority. SOLUTION: An on-board unit 20 which is connected with a plurality of kinds of portable devices 10 each including a storage medium for storing music files and performs playback control of music files, comprises: a connection section 21 to which the portable devices 10 are connected; and a preferential playback control section 26 which performs playback control of music files in accordance with playback control steps of highest priority when the portable devices 10 are connected to the connection section 21.
