PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan motor for easily removing a blade from a shaft, even if rust is generated on a shaft surface, by diametrically reducing the shaft inserted into a shaft hole part of a blade boss. SOLUTION: A small diameter part 9 is formed by partially reducing a diameter of the shaft 2a between an attaching-detaching means 4 and the motor 1 separately from a constructed part 8. The above constitution can provide the fan motor for easily removing the blade 3 from the shaft 2a by reducing friction with the shaft hole part 7 when removing he blade 3, without enlarging a diameter of the small diameter part 9 more than an initial diameter part 20, even if the rust is generated in the small diameter part 9.
