PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evenly scatter arithmetic processing among arithmetic parts by increasing no redundant processing as much as possible with a simple control though adopting a multiprocessor system. SOLUTION: The display controller carries a CPU 131 for display control with two CPU cores 131a and 131b packaged into one chip. The CPU cores 131a and 131b compute various parameters following a program code necessary for the display of frames alternately per frame to generate display lists of the respective frames which are loaded onto a RAM 133. The display lists loaded onto the RAM 133 are transferred to a VDP 135.
