A humidifier (K) that is placed outdoors, adsorbs moisture contained in the outside air to convert it into condensation water, and humidifying the inside of a room by evaporating the condensation water. The humidifier (K) has an adsorbing air flow path (2) for taking in the outside air and causing it to flow; an adsorption rotating body (7) rotationally driven, with a part of the adsorption rotating body (7) placed in the adsorbing air flow path (2), and adsorbing moisture from the outside air led to the adsorbing air flow path (2); an recovering air flow path (3) for leading high-temperature air for heat exchange to the remaining part of the adsorption rotating body (7) and allowing the moisture to be discharged into the air for heat exchange; a condensing heat exchanger (8) placed at a portion downstream of the adsorption rotating body (7) in the recovering air flow path (3) and obtaining condensation water by exchanging heat between air for cooling led to the condensing heat exchanger (8) and the air for heat exchange; and a water conveyance path (1) for conveying the condensation water, which is obtained in the condensing heat exchanger (8), into the room. The air outside the adsorbing air flow path (2) is used as the air for cooling led into the condensing heat exchanger (8). A sufficient amount of condensation water can be obtained by the relatively simple structure, which satisfies humidification conditions inside the room.
|
