An alternator continuous driving control apparatus and a method for improving performance of a vehicle and reducing fuel are provided to prevent the incomplete combustion of fuel caused by the discontinuous driving of an alternator during traveling of the vehicle and to extend the life time of electric parts. An alternator continuous driving control apparatus(100) of a vehicle is composed of: a power connection unit(200) receiving voltage(Vreg) of a regulator during traveling of the vehicle; a voltage comparison unit(300) comparing distributed voltage generated by distributing the voltage of the regulator, with plural reference voltages; a control unit(400) selecting one of plural modes according to the comparison result of the voltage comparison unit and driving the voltage comparison unit at the certain number of times per unit time; a voltage compensation unit(500) outputting compensation voltage(Vpump) to the power connection unit by boosting voltage according to the controls of the control unit; and a current consumption unit(600) for consuming current flowing into the power connection unit, in the alternator according to the control of the control unit. The voltage comparison unit comprises a distributing unit outputting the distributed voltage by distributing the voltage of the regulator and plural comparison units comparing the distributed voltage with each reference voltage. The voltage comparison unit outputs plural mode selection signals(Mod1,Mod2) corresponding to the comparison result, to the control unit. At least two of plural reference voltages are set corresponding to the magnitude of each voltage of the regulator for stopping and starting driving the alternator. The control unit comprises an oscillation unit; a timer; and a mode selection unit. The oscillation unit outputs plural comparison unit control signals(Vctrl1,Vctrl2) to plural comparison units.
