ADSORPTION ELEMENT AND ADSORPTION APPARATUS FOR CARBON DIOXIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and lightweight adsorption element for carbon dioxide which is easily handled and hardly broken.

SOLUTION: In the adsorption element 1 for carbon dioxide, at least one surface of a polymer base film 15 is covered with a carrier film 16. The carrier film 16 is formed by oxidizing the surface layer of an aluminum or aluminum alloy foil. The surface layer is a porous aluminum oxide carrier layer 16a, and the remaining part is an aluminum or aluminum alloy supporting layer 16b. An amine group 17 for adsorbing carbon dioxide is adhered on the inside surface of the each hole 16a' of the carrier layer 16a.
