<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for recovering glass substrates from a waste liquid crystal panel that can recycle glass, using small labor and energy and recover liquid crystal and indium in a transparent conductive film. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering glass substrates from the waste liquid crystal panel that includes a glass substrate separating stage of separating two stuck glass substrates comprises a liquid crystal and indium recovering stage of recovering liquid crystal and indium on the separated glass substrates; an electrode removing stage of removing a bus electrode material from the liquid crystal glass substrate, after the liquid crystal and indium are recovered; and a glass substrate recovering stage of recovering the glass substrates, after the bus electrode is removed. The device has a plasma generating device as a means of performing plasma processing on the glass substrates separated from the waste liquid crystal panel and is used to recover the glass substrates from the waste liquid crystal panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
