PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive paste having an excellent coating property in screen printing. SOLUTION: In this conductive paste 20, a viscosity ratio at each shear rate satisfiesη0.4/η4=0.51 to 1.67, and satisfiesη0.4/η20=0.49 to 1.16, where, for example,η0.4 denotes a viscosity at a shear rate of 0.4 sec<SP>-1</SP>. In screen printing, this conductive paste 20 exhibits a preferred thixotropic property from a low shear rate region in being applied to a printing mesh and a low shear rate in scrubbing the printing mesh by a squeegee to a medium shear rate region. Accordingly, in screen printing, the conductive paste 20 rapidly passes through the printing mesh, and generation of blurring in printing on a green sheet 30 is suppressed. The conductive paste 20 exerts a preferred dilatancy property from a medium shear rate region to a high shear rate region after application.
