The centrifugal pump has a spiral housing with two housing parts (1,2). The central region of former housing part is tumbler-shaped for receiving the rotor (3) provided in the wet chamber (N) and forms a bearing (3') at the base (2') of the tumbler-shaped region for mounting the rotor in rotary manner. A stator (4) surrounds the former housing part and is provided in the dry chamber (T) adjacent to the exterior of the rotor.
