PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing an ornamental string, wherein the ornamental string never moves uncontrollably, an undergarment or the like is prevented from detaching from the body, and aesthetic changes of the use are given as well as innovative beautifying effects that have never been experienced. SOLUTION: The ornamental string 1 is composed of: a hook 2 attachable to an adjuster 9 for adjusting the length of an undergarment strap 8 hidden by an outer garment or attachable to a ring for connecting the undergarment strap 8 with an undergarment cup 10; a freely attachable/detachable winding chain 4 for the undergarment strap; and a clip-shaped restrainer 5, each at both ends of the ornamental string. While the winding chain 4 for the undergarment strap 8 is wrapped around the undergarment strap 8, it can be engaged with the hook 2. The ornamental string 1 can also be engaged with the winding chain 4 for the undergarment strap. In this ornamental string, the clip-shaped restrainer 5 can be engaged with the undergarment cup 10 for hiding around the chest of the undergarment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
