摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce processing costs, and to precisely detect an object by performing rotary correction whose calculation load is less than a conventional manner. SOLUTION: This image pickup device includes an image pickup part for picking up an image; and a rotation angle calculation part for calculating the rotation angle of rotation correction to be applied to an image picked up by an image pickup part based on a posture parameter in the three-dimensional space of the image pickup part. Also, the image pickup device includes an extraction part for extracting one or more candidate regions included in a detection target object in the image picked up by the image pickup part and a rotation correction part for correcting the totation of each extracted candidate region according to the calculated rotation angle. Furthermore, the image pickup device includes an object detection part for detecting the detection target object from each candidate region whose rotation has been corrected.
