PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium dispensing device capable of automatically determining an operation mode of a game machine set as the game medium dispensing motion, and capable of performing the proper game medium dispensing motion as connected to the game machine matching its own operation mode set as the game medium dispensing motion. SOLUTION: The game medium dispensing device 20 stores its own operation mode set as the game medium dispensing motion which can be executed by itself in an own operation mode storing means 21a, and game machine operation mode determining means 21c determines the game machine motion operation mode based on a game machine operation signal transmitted from the game machine 10 connected to the game medium dispensing device 20. When the result of determination corresponds to the operation mode of the device itself, dispensing control means 21d monitors the transmission/receiving of signals with the game machine 10 while a time table storing means 21b refers to the time table of the corresponding mode, and executes the game medium dispensing control.
