PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve come-out in a bit straight advancing type air impact driver. SOLUTION: In order to prevent occurrence of come-out in a bit straight type air impact driver not adjustable in bit pressing load by operator's hand, a driver bit is spline-engaged with a rotation driving mechanism using an impact crutch, and the base end portion of the driver bit is connected to a piston of an air cylinder. The driver bit is driven to rotate by an air motor and an impact crutch so as to be straightly driven by the air cylinder. This air impact driver includes a stopper means for limiting a swing angle of a hammer of the impact crutch, so that the hammer is not brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface of a shaft part of an anvil.
