<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety method of treating by carrying out at a low cost the efficient solid-liquid separation of a distillation lees obtained in a process of distilling a constituent containing alcohol after fermenting cereals, which also enables a treated solid content to use as a feedstuff. <P>SOLUTION: The method of treating a cereal distillation lees comprises treating by adding a sodium polyacrylate to the cereal distillation lees, then treating by adding chitosan, further treating by adding sodium polyacrylate, thereafter carrying out the solid-liquid separation, and contacting a separated liquid to a reverse osmosis membrane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
