<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of confirming the number of copies during processing even when the image formation of a plurality of the number of the copies is performed by a job when the image formation is performed through a print controller from an external instrument. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes an image forming part 42, a print controller 10 and a controlling part 110. The image forming part 42 forms the image on paper from the inputted image data. The print controller 10 receives the image data transmitted from the outside and stores the image data in an image memory 170. The controlling part 110 detects the feature amount of the image data and stores it in a storing part 191 for the feature amount when the image data stored in the image memory 170 are successively read out and are outputted to the image forming part 42, and detects repeating of the image formation of the same image data from the amount of characteristics of the image to be formed and the feature amount of the image whose image formation has been done stored in the storing part 191 for the feature amount, discriminates the repeating of the number of the copies of image formation from the result of detection, and controls the result of discrimination so as to display it on an LCD 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
