<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning the inside of a drain pipe which enables the inside of the drain pipe to be surely cleaned in a short period of time even if many residues with great specific gravity such as egg shells and sea shells accumulated in the drain pipe are left. <P>SOLUTION: Air with a predetermined flow velocity is circulated in the horizontally-arranged drain pipe 2 in the direction of a cleaning opening for discharging the residues in the drain pipe which is provided in the drain pipe; water is fed into the drain pipe so that a water mass 9 can be generated in the drain pipe on the basis of the water; the inside of the drain pipe is partially closed with the water mass so that the circulation of the air circulated through the drain pipe can be blocked; the water mass is moved in the direction of the cleaning opening where atmospheric air becomes low while the atmospheric air in the drain pipe before and behind the water mass is changed to a high or low level; and the water mass makes the residues in the drain pipe removed by flowing in the direction of the cleaning opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
