A mortice and a door lock apparatus including the same are provided to prevent torque from not being transmitted from a stop breaker to a stopper in closing a door by reducing rotation angles of the stopper and the stop breaker. A mortice(100) includes a case(110), a dead bolt(120), a stopper(130), a check bolt, and a stop breaker. The case includes a dead bolt entrance hole and a check bolt entrance hole on one side. The dead bolt has a drawing preventing groove(122) on one side and at least a part of the dead bolt goes in and out the case through the dead bolt entrance hole. The stopper rotates at a predetermined angle with respect to a stopper rotation axis in one direction and one end thereof is inserted into the drawing preventing groove when the dead bolt is drawn into the case.
