<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and method having a configuration compatible with a plurality of requests such as a cost reduction and a storage capacity or the like. <P>SOLUTION: With regard to a circuit substrate which conducts image processing by a post stage image processing means/ASIC 40b after storing an image data and takes a reuse of the image data into account and with regard to a circuit substrate which conducts the image processing by the post stage image processing means/ASIC 40b before storing the image data and takes the cost reduction into account by making a capacity of the stored data minimum, an ASIC provided with an image path switching means to switch the image processing by the post stage image processing means inside the same ASIC to be conducted before or after storing the data is used so as to make the circuit substrates common for executing both of the substrates by the same hardware. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
