PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone rubber composition which simultaneously possesses excellent high thermal conductivity and environmental stability and high durability. SOLUTION: The silicone rubber composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. specific organopolysiloxane, (B) 50 to 1,000 pts wt. zinc oxide prepared by firing zinc hydroxide granulated by the wet method or zinc carbonate at 600-1,800°C or by firing zinc oxide prepared by the American method or the French method at 800-1,800°C and thereafter surface-treating the fired zinc oxide with a surface treating agent, and (C) a catalytic amount of a curing agent.
