MODIFIED POLYESTER RESIN WITH GOOD CRUSHABILITY AND DURABILITY AND TONER COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

A modified polyester resin is provided to be excellent in crushability and durability, and to be used as a binder resin for toner. A modified polyester resin includes (A) 100 parts by molar weight of a carboxyl group-containing compound, (B) 5-15 parts by molar weight of ethyleneglycol in which silica particles are dispersed, (C) 20-80 parts by weight of an aromatic diol, and (D) 10-65 parts by molar weight of an aliphatic diol. The carboxyl group-containing compound is selected from the group comprising aromatic bifunctional acids and esters thereof, aromatic polyfunctional acids and esters thereof, aliphatic bifunctional acids and esters thereof, and mixtures thereof.
