<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound which can be suitably used for synthesizing head to tail (HT) regioregular polymer having a high HT structure ratio, in which unsymmetrical five-membered ring is a recurring unit. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides a heterocyclic compound represented by the general formula (I) [wherein X and Y are different and they are each a chlorine atom, a bromine atom, an iodine atom, CF<SB>3</SB>SO<SB>3</SB>-, CH<SB>3</SB>SO<SB>3</SB>-, C<SB>6</SB>H<SB>5</SB>SO<SB>3</SB>- or CH<SB>3</SB>C<SB>6</SB>H<SB>4</SB>SO<SB>3</SB>-; R<SP>1</SP>is a ≥2C monovalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group which may be substituted; either one of A<SP>1</SP>and A<SP>2</SP>is -S-, -O-, -Se- or -Te- and the other of A<SP>1</SP>and A<SP>2</SP>is -N=, -P= or -Si(R<SP>2</SP>)= (wherein R<SP>2</SP>is a hydrogen atom, a monovalent hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, a halogen atom, an amino group or a carbonyl group); either one of two parallel lines composed of a full line and a broken line is a single bond and the other is a double bond]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
