A mouthpiece (1) for molding a planar honeycomb structure including an introduction portion (3) provided on one surface (introduction surface (8)) side and having a plurality of rear holes (7), and a molding portion (2) provided on the other surface side and having slits (6) communicating with the rear holes (7), and allowing a molding material introduced from the rear holes (7) in the introduction portion (3) to pass through the slits (6) in the molding portion (2) and molding the material into a honeycomb shape, wherein the introduction portion (3) consists of two layers, i.e. a planar abrasive portion (5) composing the introduction surface (8) and an introduction portion body (4) located between the abrasive portion (5) and the molding portion (2), and the abrasive portion (5) is attached removably to the introduction portion body (4). Even if the surface on the material introduction side is abraded during extrusion molding, the abraded portion can be replaced conveniently and the shape of a molded honeycomb structure can be sustained well.
