摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic wall thickness measuring instrument capable of measuring two-dimensional distribution of wall thickness of a pipe, with being small in size, easy of use, and having a sufficient measurement accuracy. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic wall thickness measuring instrument 10 for measuring wall thickness of a pipe P in a pipe group PG includes: a measurement part 30 including a frame 12 having a thickness that can be inserted into an interval d between adjacent pipes; an ultrasonic probe 26; and a circumferential scanning mechanism 28 for scanning an ultrasonic probe along the circumferential direction of the pipe; positioning parts 34L and 34R for determining a position of the ultrasonic probe with respect to the circumferential surface of the pipe; an axial scanning mechanism for scanning the ultrasonic probe along the pipe axis direction; and a collapsible storage part for putting both the measurement part and the positioning part in the transition state between a closed state in which the both parts are stored in the frame by a thickness less than the interval between the pipes and an opened state in which the both parts are opened in the size more than the interval between the pipes to determine positioning of the ultrasonic probe.
