The invention relates to a novel positive ignition engine which is suitable for use in the automotive industry as well as in industry in general. The underlying energy principles are the same as those governing conventional internal combustion engines, the difference being that the mechanical structure of the inventive engine contains none of the linearly moving parts of a conventional engine, thereby preventing power losses and considerably simplifying the production and maintenance of same. According to the invention, power is delivered during most of the cycle, unlike in alternative systems in which power is only supplied during a quarter of the cycle (in the case of four-stroke engines). Said engine includes a cylindrical block or case (P1 A) (stator) containing a smaller cylindrical block or case (rotor) having an axis of rotation that is shifted from the main axis of rotation until it corresponds to the inner lateral surface of the first cylinder. The second cylinder (P1 B) serves as an internal enclosure for the exhaust and expansion chambers and as a guide and support for the blade which acts as a thrust piston. The blade forms part of the main axis of rotation and helps to drive the combustion gases transmitting the driving force.
