ELEVATOR CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator control system capable of detecting malfunction of a speed monitoring control device in a relatively simple structure. SOLUTION: A speed monitoring control device outputs a speed information signal respectively when a speed of an elevator calculated based on an output signal of a first speed detector achieves a first speed which is equal to or slower than a rated speed and a second speed equal to or slower than the rated speed and faster than the first speed. The elevator control device detects abnormality of the first speed detector based on these speed information signals and a speed of the elevator that the elevator control device calculates based on the output signal of the second speed detector.
