An RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) reader capable of mounting a mobile terminal is provided to enable a user to lock and release the mobile terminal such as a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) easily from a pocket unit in a simple way without any difficulty. A reader main unit includes an RFID module reading information stored in an RFID tag when the RFID tag is approached, and a switching unit turning on/off operation of the RFID module selectively. A pocket unit(60) is coupled to an upper part forming an upper surface of the reader main unit and includes a connector, which connects to the connector of a mobile terminal(1) interacting with the RFID module, at one inner side. A locking unit(70) selectively locks and releases the mobile terminal mounted on the pocket unit between the upper plate and the pocket unit. The locking unit includes a pair of locking slots(72) formed to a bottom surface of the pocket unit and a locker(74) coupled with the upper plate to be rotated in at least one direction. One end of the locker is exposed to the bottom surface of an upper plate(20) and another end of the locker is exposed to an inner space of the pocket unit by passing the locking slot. |
