ARRAY TYPE INK JET PRINTER

An array type ink jet printer is provided to ensure exact positions of a plurality of head chips by installing the head chips in channels such that side surfaces of the head chips are supported to a support bar. An array type ink jet printer includes a head(10), a plurality of head chips(11), and a support bar(12). The head is made of resin and has a plurality of channels to receive ink. The plurality of head chips are installed in the channels respectively. The support bar is made of metal and installed in the head to form one surfaces of the channels. The channels are installed in two rows. The support bar is installed between the rows of the channels.
