PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a financial management device for making it possible to perform financial processing accompanying the warehousing and delivery processing of premiums to be exchanged inside a game hall and the respective processing of premium exchange processing and premium delivery processing in a shop other than the game hall and automatically performing calculation relating to the financial processing for settlement in the game hall, and a financial management method. SOLUTION: The financial management device 50 sums up (A) a sales amount corresponding to the amount of money used for games by players and/or a calculation element based on game data and (B) the amount of purchase corresponding to the purchase money amount of premiums to be put out to the player in exchange with acquired game media obtained by the player and/or a calculation element for calculating the amount of purchase, performs calculation based on the financial processing including the summed-up (A) and (B), and calculates the inclusive sum of prescribed subjects of a general ledger in a prescribed period.
