PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine for shortening a time required for balancing pressures at a discharge side and inhalation side of a compressor. SOLUTION: This automatic vending machine is provided with a first compressor operation start delaying means 17 for delaying the operation start of a compressor 4 only by a predetermined delay time in supplying a power and switching the cold/hot setting of a storage chamber 5, and for supplying electricity to an electromagnetic valve 14 and a motor 7 for internal blast and a motor 10 for condenser blast; a storage part 18 for storing a time set by the first compressor operation start delay means 17; a timer 16 for measuring a time from when a power supply is turned off or the cold/hot setting of the storage chamber 5 is switched; and a control part 24 for comparing the time measured by the timer 16 with the time stored in the storage part 18, and for outputting the instruction signal of the delay operation of the compressor 4. Thus, it is possible to supply electricity to the electromagnetic valve 14 and the motor 7 for internal blast and a motor 10 for condenser blast in the delay operation time of the compressor 4, and to shorten a time required for balancing pressures at the discharge side and inhalation side of the compressor 4, and to solve the start failure of the compressor.
