PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plunger device which can cope with various mounting portions having different mounting patterns, and having excellent operability, and further to provide a press apparatus. SOLUTION: In the plunger device 10, a housing body 31 is provided with three different mounting portions. Concretely, mounting flanges 121, 125, a motor mounting portion 11, and a receiving member 55 are provided. Therefore, the plunger device 10 can be mounted on any of three supporting bases S1 to S3 in common by selectively using these three mounting portions. By this configuration, the plunger device can get high salability and excellent operability compared with a conventional type plunger device which can be mounted on one supporting base only.
