PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of backing up communication in a LAN by a backup device corresponding to the scale of the LAN to be backed up.

SOLUTION: Backup devices 120 and 120B download a conversion information table used in an IP-PBX 110. The backup devices 120 and 120B change information for specifying an interface to be used by the IP-PBX 110 into information for specifying an interface to be used by the backup devices 120 and 120B to perform call control.
