An advanced wastewater treatment apparatus is provided to treat effectively organic matters, nitrogen and phosphorous contained in wastewater, reduce the operating cost of the apparatus, and manage the apparatus easily. An apparatus for advanced wastewater treatment of a sequencing batch reactor using immobilized filter media comprises: porous pipes(3) which are installed within the sequencing batch reactor and spaced from one another in a predetermined distance, and into which a plurality of circular or rectangular holes(8) are perforated; and ciliary filter media(9) that encircle outer peripheral parts of the porous pipes such that microorganisms are immobilized to the ciliary filter media. |
