PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device with high assembling workability, which makes the strength of a lock case high. SOLUTION: This lock device comprises: a case body 2 which is formed in an approximately hollow-box shape by connecting a pair of half case bodies 1 together in a superposed state; a mounting plate 33 for being mounted on a door body which is fixed to a front end surface of the case body 2; and a dead bolt 5 which is housed in the case body 2, and which is driven retractably by a locking/unlocking operation device 4. A connecting piece 6, which is superposed in front and rear positions in a connected state, is bent at the front end of each of the half case bodies 1. The half case bodies 1 are connected together by screwing broad walls together, and fastening the mounting plate 3 to a superposed portion of the connecting piece 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
