PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal plate having an easily decomposable coating film capable of easily separating a laminate formed by integrating the metal plate and another member into each of constituent members, and a method for separating another member from the laminate formed by integrating the metal plate having the easily decomposable coating film and another member. SOLUTION: The metal plate having the easily decomposable coating film has the easily decomposable coating film, which contains a polymer having a nitrogen-nitrogen double bond (-N=N-) and/or a nitrogen-carbon double bond (-C=N-) on its side chain, at least on its one side.
