A method for afforestation of slope surfaces by using planting soil containing sludge of lakes and marshes as a main material and spraying the planting soil containing herbaceous plant seeds on the slope surfaces is provided to allow the seeds to easily take root on the slope surfaces and to reduce the execution costs by using low cost seedlings and administration costs. Planting soil(30) contains 70 to 80% by weight of sludge of a lake or pond bottom as a precipitate of lakes and marshes rich in inorganic matter and inorganic mater as main material, 30 to 20% by weight of rice straw, pulp residue and rice hulls as additional material and an adhesive. The planting soil is sprayed on slope surfaces to help initial growth in plants. Afforestation of slope surfaces is performed by the steps of: spreading and fixing a basic mesh net(10) on the slope surfaces and dispersing a plurality of seed bags(20) in the longitudinal and transverse direction and tying; spraying planting soil containing herbaceous plant seeds(21) on the slope surfaces. |
