PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of suppressing deformation and damage even if a suction grille is formed in flat face shape and provided at its center with a laterally long recess for a suction port extending to the right and left ends to form a thin type. SOLUTION: The thin type suction grille of flat face shape arranged on the front face side of an indoor side unit and provided at the center with the laterally long recess for the suction port penetrating to the right and left ends is provided with reinforcing parts at the right and left ends of the recess to suppress deformation and damage, and a reinforcing member is stuck to the front face of each reinforcing part to further reinforce strength.
