METHOD FOR EXECUTING A SERVICE IN A LOCAL DATA NETWORK

The invention relates to a method for executing a service (S) in a local data network comprising a plurality of network nodes (Pl,..., PlO). According to said method: a) a task to be carried out by a service (S) to be executed is publicised in the data network; b) state parameters are respectively assigned to the network nodes (Pl,..., PlO) and each network node of at least part of the plurality of network nodes (Pl,..., PlO) determines whether it can execute the service with the state parameters thereof; c) the network nodes (Pl,..., PlO) that can execute the service publicise their state parameters in the data network, whereby a group (G) belonging to the service is formed, said group comprising the network nodes (Pl,..., PlO) that can execute the service (S); d) at least one network node (Pl,..., PlO) of the group (G) is determined as a co-ordinating network node; e) the at least one co-ordinating network node (PI) determines at least one network node (Pl,..., PlO) of the group (G) as the executing network node (PI) according to the service (S) and the state parameters of the network nodes (Pl,..., PlO) of the group (G); and f) the at least one executing network node (PI) executes the service (S).
