PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forceps plug of an endoscope which allows a user to put a cover onto a forceps plug body smoothly and credibly with a normal attachment operation and prevents bursting of dirty body liquid or the like. SOLUTION: An inner projection 23 of the cover 12 deforms elastically and slides along the circumference of the forceps plug body 11. When the cover is slid, a space A surrounded between the circumference of the forceps plug body 11 and an annular wall 22 of the cover 12 is communicated with the outside.
