<p>Systems and methods of individualized disease management are provided and use patient-specific, physician-defined rules to assist a patient in the management of their disease. The set of physician-defined rules for a patient can be maintained within the patient's blood glucose metering system and activated when a lifestyle event or blood glucose result is expected or recorded. Pattern analysis can be performed in real-time to provide physician-generated suggestions to a patient to positively influence their behavior toward managing their disease.</p> |
