APPARATUS FOR THE TRANSITION OF DIELECTRIC WAVEGUIDE AND TRANSMISSION LINE IN MILLIMETER WAVE BAND

A millimeter wave transition apparatus of a dielectric waveguide and a transmission line is provided to drastically reduce a design time of the millimeter wave transition apparatus and reduce a process error. A millimeter wave transition apparatus of a dielectric waveguide and a transmission line(210) includes a slot(230). The transition line is arranged at an input terminal and an output terminal along a signal transition direction at a top of an uppermost dielectric substrate to transit a signal. The dielectric waveguide becomes a signal transition path by being formed by top and bottom ground surfaces of a lowermost dielectric substrate and a via row arranged along the signal transition direction. The slot is arranged on the signal transition path of the top ground surface and transits the signal inputted from the input terminal transmission line to an output terminal transmission line via the dielectric waveguide by connecting the transmission line to the dielectric waveguide.
