PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic electronic component comprising a process for printing conductive paste or ceramic paste for eliminating level difference in sheet shape by first and second gravure print processes in which print deviation can be corrected with high precision and print distortion is hard to occur. SOLUTION: When conductive paste and ceramic paste for eliminating level difference are printed on a composite sheet 2 having a ceramic green sheet by first and second gravure print processes, a first print mark 34 is printed prior to the second gravure print process, and the position of the first print mark is detected prior to the second gravure print process. The position of the first print mark printed is compared with a predetermined desired position of the first print mark, and then the second gravure print process is performed such that the print positions of first and second print marks have a relatively proper positional relation based on the comparison result.
