PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polypropylene film excellent in uniformity of thickness and further, excellent in stretchability, heat resistance and optical characteristics. SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented polypropylene film contains polybutene-1 having recurring units represented by formula 1 and has 0.5-5 wt.% polybutene-1 content by NMR method and has≤10 Kg/mm<SP>2</SP>heat shrinkage stress in the width direction under conditions of 6-300μm thickness, 20 mN/10 mm initial load and 150°C temperature.
