PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus, a charging method therefor and a battery, capable of performing charging to the battery under desired conditions for each battery, without user's being conscious of it. SOLUTION: A battery maximum charging capacity value or a charging current value is given to the battery side as first information capable of controlling charging; and since the charging capacity or charging current to the battery 190 is controlled, based on the battery maximum charging capacity value and the charging current value as the first information, battery charging can be performed under desired conditions for each battery 190, irrespective of the user's being aware of it.
