A method and aids for modelling 3D objects permit the production of a par ameterisable instantiate model (220) of a 3D object from a generic model (21 0) of said object and a specific model (200) of a second object comprisign a t least a part of said first object are disclosed. According to the inventio n, certain characteristic data are extracted from the specific model of the second 3D object according to the parameters of the generic model of the fir st 3D object. A parameterisable instantiate model is produced fro the generi c model of the first 3D model by matching this model to the extracted data.< /SDOAB> |
