<p>Purified water is supplied to a collection vessel (11) where it is mixed with fresh water intended for evaporation into water vapor and this mixture is then delivered to the heated vessel (2) where evaporation takes place. Water (4) is evaporated in an electrically heated vessel and minerals and other solids, especially limescale, are separated from the water by removing some of the water from the heated vessel and purifying and/or filtering it before returning it to the vessel. An independent claim is also included for the air humidifying apparatus, including at least one external circuit with one or more pipes which connects the heated vessel to a separator or filter (7) located outside this vessel, the separator or filter being connected to this vessel via a return pipe. A level difference or liquid transport device is provided inside the pipe between the vessel and separator/filter. A collection vessel is located in between the separator/filter or a separator/filter vessel (10) and the heatable vessel. The return pipe and a water supply pipe are connected to the collection vessel, as is a pipe leading to the water inlet (14) of the collection vessel.</p> |
